Geodesic dome price: how much does a livable dome really cost?

A geodesic dome sits between a high-end tent and a lightweight building. Its base price covers the structure, the canvas and the insulation; the rest of the budget depends on your fit-out choices and your site.
Base prices by diameter
Our four diameters cover the vast majority of unusual accommodation projects:
- Ø 5 m — 19.62 m² floor area — €3,990 incl. VAT excluding promotion
- Ø 6 m — 28.26 m² floor area — €4,990 excl. VAT
- Ø 7 m — 38.46 m² floor area — €5,990 excl. VAT
- Ø 8 m — 50.24 m² floor area — €6,990 excl. VAT
What the base price includes
The dome is delivered as a shell: metal structure, outdoor PVC cover spanning two thirds of the surface, a panoramic transparent third, a circular entrance closed by a zip, a SkyDome and 20 mm interior insulation panels.
Flooring, furniture and equipment are not included: they depend on your project and your options.
Additional budget items to plan for
To estimate a full budget, add to the price of the dome:
- The platform or floor, depending on the fixing method chosen
- Transport to your site
- Options: 3 mm aluminium lining, curtains, windows, extra doors, heating or ventilation
- The interior fit-out: bed, shower room, kitchen, décor
