Geodesic dome insulation: 20 mm, aluminium lining and year-round comfort

The insulation included as standard

Each dome is delivered with 20 mm thick interior insulation panels, in a colour of your choice from the available range.

The optional aluminium lining

To reinforce insulation, a 3 mm thick aluminium lining is available as an option. It reflects radiation and improves thermal comfort, both in winter and during hot spells.

Complementary good practices

Beyond materials, a few choices make a big difference to comfort:

• An insulated floor, as heat loss through the ground is often underestimated
• Interior curtains on the panoramic section
• Controlled ventilation to avoid condensation
• Heating sized to the dome's actual volume, which is greater than an equivalent square room
